Hithesh’s First Licensed Daycare Day

I woke up early that morning and prepared a traditional milk rice breakfast table, hoping to start his new journey with blessings, love, and good wishes. As I arranged the table, my heart was filled with pride and gratitude, knowing that my little boy was taking one more step toward growing up.

My Little Harvest of Gotukola
There is something incredibly satisfying about harvesting food from your own garden. One of my favorite gallery photos is my small harvest of fresh gotukola. Holding those freshly picked leaves brought a sense of accomplishment and gratitude. It may not have been a huge harvest, but it carried the joy of growing something with patience and care. One picture shows a simple meal served with homemade chili paste. The aroma and taste instantly transported me back to my childhood. It reminded me of the lunch parcels lovingly packed by my friends’ mothers during school days. Those homemade meals always carried warmth, generosity, and the unmistakable taste of home. This chile paste and dhal curry reminds me a lot of Prabavi’s amma. Aunty’s lunch parcel with this combo never forgets.
