Have a happy weekend

This weekend felt like quiet, with lovely and meaningful pauses. Nothing extraordinary happened, but everything felt special in its own small way. We had dense snow on Sunday. Despite the heavy winter, we went for a simple winter walk. The air was cold and fresh, the kind that woke me up and made me feel more present.

Walking slowly, wrapped in warm clothes, I know it is really embarrassing to wear three layers, but the warmth it provides is priceless.

I carried the baby carrier. Hithesh was pressing to my warm breast, little hands were scribbling on my breast, and the feeling made me joyful.

My husband was holding my hand, and I was stroking our boy’s head gently what else do I need to have to be happy?

While walk I found myself appreciating the little details — bare trees, soft sunlight, and the calmness that only winter seems to bring.

weekend

This is something very, very ordinary. Nothing to highlight, but I am doing so because the feeling I had there is satisfying. Here it is, we went to a coin laundry to wash our shoes. Watching the machines spin, knowing everything would come out clean and fresh, felt like a small reset. It reminded me that sometimes productivity is not about big achievements, but about taking care of small, practical things that make everyday life easier.

We came back, and the three were freezing; our little boy was in a good and sound sleep. The best part of the day was our tea-time gathering. There’s something deeply comforting about sitting with warm coffee and a tuna-and-mayonnaise bun. We two were talking secretly since our boy is in a good sleep. These are the moments I value the most.

Later in the evening, I spent time studying and writing for this website. It felt good to sit quietly with my thoughts, turning experiences into words. Writing always helps me reflect. They may seem small now, but over time, they become memories that shape who we are.

Overall, this weekend was a beautiful balance of movement, connection, and personal growth.
