The stroller experience, My boy and me

stroller experience

How do you feel about your stroller experience?

We went to the hospital for the first vaccination series of our sweet little boy. The most exciting thing was, that we decided to take him in the stroller for the first time. After a deep digging my husband ordered a multifunctional stroller. Since we have a considerable distance from my home to the station, we both decided to take him for vaccination by the stroller. You can have two birds with one stone. We can inhale the cool breeze plus a good walk.

We bought our baby stroller from here. With a slight smile, I asked my husband “Can’t we use it for shopping haha? We can have a good walk while shopping too.” “Why not, if you like” replied while laughing at myself. How could I throw away such a gem haha!!

Yes. It is super easy to handle, with no physical burden. But above all, I was super excited. My mind murmured, “I am afraid of taking my boy for this in his stroller.” I was struggling with many questions,

What if a dog chases away? Will I be able to save him?

If I miss my steps and fall while walking, what would happen?

Will I be able to enter in to the train before the doors are closed?

I know that many of my thoughts are irrational and imaginary. But I was basically on the fence.

But in Japan, we do a lot more walking. Your child is probably a very capable walker, but you will still use “the stroller.” That is how things work. So, I will have to deal with this.

Strollers are everywhere. Teeny tiny wiggly human souls are covered with winter sheets and roaming everywhere. What a scene!!

I was just thinking about the positives of having the stroller! and telling myself,

Everything with a new baby is super exciting and very hard. I have been playing the “new mama” role so far in an excellent way. My husband adjusted the “pushing handle,” and now I can see him directly. We are seeing each other directly!! If I have to wait a few minutes for the bus or train platform, this stroller will be a great help!

But I still have some worries. I am worried about the stroller lock. Have I locked it? I usually double-check.

However, before walking alone I will have to have some “trial walks” I determined.

I would buckle my boy into the stroller, and walk a loop around the nearby small park. I do not know your feelings, but this is a high precaution.

How about your experience? Any thoughts!! Comment on me!!
