Early bird in this club?
Since the day my baby boy was born, I feel like I am transforming into a new version of myself. I am writing a new chapter in my life. My status and responsibilities have indeed expanded, so it might be a normal thing.
But I am experiencing some of my hidden capabilities, emerging. Normally, I am not an early bird. When I am in school, I can burn the midnight oil, but rising early in the morning is the worst thing. Simply, wake up is hard. Then, the jobs, since I was considerably far from my workplace, required me to wake up early in the morning and get on the train. Even though I was not an Early Bird, I had to do this “Early Bird” thing, because there was no option.
Later in my life in these unknown lands, my lifestyle changed totally, and I woke up at about 7 am. I had more than enough time for my schedules and to-do lists. Days passed, again I felt like I, It would be better if I could wake up a little bit earlier. Even though I hate waking up early morning, I have to be frank here. The best moments of the day are visible in the mornings!
Chippering of early birds, dew at the end of green leaves, warmth of the rising sun are morning blessings
After years of waiting, our little boy is finally with us. I’m so happy and proud that, after his first three months, I was able to establish a healthy and consistent sleep routine for him. Now, he usually goes to bed around 10 p.m. and wakes up after a solid stretch of sleep at about 5:30 a.m.
After feeding him, instead of going back to sleep, I freshen up, put on a new outfit, and head straight to my mini garden. I talk to all the flowers and vegetable pots, touch their leaves, and water them. It fills me with a rush of dopamine first thing in the morning. The magic and power of this little garden are beyond words.
Then I move on to some kitchen chores. Since our baby boy has started weaning, I prepare his food as well. After that, I might go for a walk, work on my writing, set up breakfast, or continue learning a new language.

That said, I’m not always an early bird—sometimes I do slip back into old habits. But I genuinely believe mornings are the best! And because this morning routine has such a positive effect on me, I try my best to stick with it. It gives me so much energy!
Are you an Early Bird?
