Maternity Wear I wore

Maternity Wear I wore.

After realizing I needed pregnancy-friendly clothes, I was so keen about maternity wear. What to wear, I was a bit anxious.

I was growing up with parents who appreciated and honoured each penny they earned hard, and they made the most of what they bought all the time. So, proving that I am their daughter, I was very keen on buying Maternity dresses, because spending money on clothes that I would wear for only a couple of months felt frivolous, but my loving husband is the other side of the coin. He was in the process of selecting and adding dresses to the “add to cart”.

He was doing it happily, and I didn’t want to say no to every piece he added to the cart, so I let him add a few maternity pajamas (but I removed a considerable amount of stuff from his cart—haha!). This relationship, I am crying!

When I wanted to do physical shopping, we both went into town and bought some things. Except for a few pairs of pants, everything I bought was frocks. As my baby belly was getting bigger, I felt it was better to wear frocks—they were more comfortable.

Plus, my all-time favorite closed casual shoes and wool-lined winter boots also went well with each outfit. I was very careful about everything, because we were living alone in a foreign land, and above all, I kept telling myself that I was carrying a little person inside me—such a precious thing—so I had to be careful with every step I took.

For the winter, apart from the frocks, I wore two three-layer jackets with a knitted scarf, and a woolly hat.

At home, I wore very comfortable linen outfits, frocks, or pajamas according to the seasons.

How about you?
