My honest belief is adding a flowery theme to your home meant “a warm welcome“. Everything is always better with flowers. These flower and plant arrangements are a creative and fun project to have. And even the simplest flower arrangement can be an eye-catcher. Here are some flower and plant decoration ideas for your home.
Potted flowers and plants– Fresh flowers from your backyard or grocery store to your vases. Flowers are always there but some additional fillers will be a great idea. Branches, dried plant materials. For this, you can always use stylish containers with different materials ceramic, terracotta, or woven baskets too will be a great option to have. Stylish containers like vintage vases, tea cups, and mason jars will be great. A simple jar with no specific thing to do with but your heart doesn’t allow you to throw it away, due to some sentimental or some other reason, no worries, let us convert it in to a great flower pot. LOL!!
You can add some herbs like mint, and coriander pots in the kitchen and dining room. Some say that to have prosperous and healthy vibes it’s good to have mint indoors.
Vertical garden– This is something new, but always work with the limited space you have. The design is not only for the balcony but also for dining rooms, halls and passages anywhere you like to have it. When you are lack of ample backyard space, this is the best thing you can try.
The best thing about a vertical garden is you can cover up if you have any dirty walls. LOL!!
Green corner– Green is always a mind-relaxing color. We all have favorite spots in our home. If you have a green corner, you are so lucky. A comfortable armchair your favorite book and a cup of tea cup at the “green corner” will be the best therapy you can have. I always love a green corner by the window, it always feels more energetic.
Gallery wall– You can hang a collection of artwork, and photographs. You can mix and match photographs with different sizes and different frames. Arts with simple five-petal flowers, or a bunch of well-bloomed roses, will fill you with energy. In Sri Lanka, my home has a gallery wall filled with mesmerizing memories.
With all these flower and plant-based decorations I always feel like a country even middle of a busy city. The feeling is always like you are spending a vacation.
When you are in the mood for work and family balance. This will be great. You have endless work at home on both sides of work and household chores. When you feel like a country and you are with nature, it’s a great relief to have and I am pretty sure your chores will function smoothly with zero pressure.
