Mesmerizing things in my mobile gallery

Friday night always comes with something special. This time it was a traditional Sri Lanka pol roti along with Japanese-style Famichiki and soup. Pol roti is a traditional Sri Lankan dish prepared from flour. I add carrots, leeks, and onions when preparing it. These things add an extraordinary taste always. And Famichiki is a well-known, deep-fried chicken thigh. It is not too spicy but good in taste.

I couldn’t capture my miso soup coup. It was too great all together. Miso paste is the easiest way to prepare miso soup. I just put the paste into the cup and add hot water after stirring some tofu to the top.

The photographs of the January 1st Lunch were like this. I cooked fried chicken, potato curry with coconut milk, raitha a kind of salad with carrots, cucumber, and curd, batu moju traditional Sri Lankan recipe with fried eggplants, and egg plus cutlet.

Hundreds of fish waiting for our treat at the edge of the river bank, and the pigeon is curious about things. We were throwing foods for them. This photo was taken at that moment. Happy fish moment!!

We had a friends’ meet-up there. One of my husband’s friend went back to Sri Lanka. So before his departure, we all went to the park, they had a lot to talk about. Leaving a friend is not an easy thing. You might connect through a digital platform, but is that enough always?

Chicken plus cheesy pizza will be always on my forever favorite list. When in Sri Lanka, Pizza Hut was a common meetup place. We shared old memories and it was dazzling always.

Icing filled with super soft fluffy chocolate cake slices, so yummy. Japanese cakes are so good and so soft always.

Photographs are the best way to arouse our memories. It has such a healing power. It is always smelling.
