This morning While scrolling I found something interesting as well as a healthy bit in “Business Insider”. Boosting longevity with just seven habits within five minutes. We have noted many stuff on how to lead a healthy. life, but once I went through this, I found as something practical and easy to follow up, It went like this,

Habit stacking

I found this something interesting and easy to practice with. I practically know how hard is to keep up a habit. As an example, I wanted to improve my water consumption, For two or three days I put it into my mind and hardly went with the process. But I could not continue it as I supposed. I tried a tricky method for this. what I practiced was Habit stacking but till I read this article I did not know what it was called. Whatever the name my trick worked well. So I can swear you honestly. This works well!

You can create a habit easier by combining it with something you are already doing. Like my water consumption trick. While cooking and reading I kept a bottle of water by my side.

Micro-meditations.

We are growing day by day so is our mind. It fills with so many things both healthy and unhealthy stuff. A fresh and calm mind is the best for anything and everything. As the Article suggested clearing the mind is a must. It is all about being present.

Start with simple gratitude

Once you start thankful to the world, it comes again to you. Just a simple gratitude at the bottom of the heart is enough. What I see, what I feel, what I touch everything is entitled to gratitude. You can talk to your plants with a simple gratitude. It is as simple as that.

Instead of scrolling reach two people you care about.

Physical social interaction makes you both happy and healthy. I see lots of old people here gather on weekends and play whatever they love. Then have lovely chats, smiling at each other. It is so lovely to see. Talking to my family soothes me more than anything else. Nothing can be compared with it. These happy moments level up your oxytocin, the hormone related to bonding behaviours.

A moment to remember what matters in life

Ikigai sense of purpose is the key. You are to do something you are passionate about.
