In my life time I will have to engage with this business. LOL!! This evening I was just having a cup of tea and in a thought. I don’t how but all at once I was thinking about my name. While clinging in to the “NAME” matter, I remembered how often do people mispronounced my name!!! Any experience?
When I was in my teens, I had a bad habit of interrupting in mid-sentence and correct my name. By the time of University I gave up sudden attack and got used to rather matured approaches.
I wait till there is a natural lull and respond. Sometimes I change the subject and corrects it. And some other occasions I am saying “It is actually pronounced in…. Way, but no worries at all, it happens often”As getting older what I understood is in all the time what matters is your voice or simply the tone colour of course.
