2023 Christmas dinner

Time flies. We are sitting at the edge of 2023, a charming year with love, joy, and ups and downs. Here is my simple but special Christmas dinner.

Christmas has always been one of my favorites. Since my childhood, It has been extra special for me. The tradition and celebration, the year-end festivities, family gatherings, and cultural influence add color. In Japan, Christmas Christmas is not a national holiday. We go to work as usual.

But I could not help myself, so as usual, I wanted to set a party vibe inside my sweet home. Though I am not a very party-vibe, social person, I love to mark special days in my inner circle. Treating my loved ones with food is my love language.

So, here is how it went. A simple Christmas dinner. This Christmas was so special for both of us because it was our first as a couple.

It was not a typical Christmas dinner, with roasted turkey and lots of side dishes, but a simple one. Christmas is not always about food, drinks, music, and lots of party vibes; it is always a great time to share your love and affection with your loved ones. Intimate dinners are just a part of such a caring and warm gathering.

That is my thinking about Christmas.

Everything was so good, and each dish on the table was highly appreciated, and each bite was so memorable. I felt the spirit of Christmas. Love, joy, laughter, comfort, and warmth all in one place. Yes, what else do you want?

If you love to see them, I got some close-ups too. Hope you love to see.
