Christmas Deco 2023 & My sweet flashbacks

Christmas

Neither Nera nor me is Christian. But since my childhood, I Ioved Christmas and celebrated it in our own style. I decorated a small Christmas tree with my sister and brother. It was so fun event. We normally used a well-shaped bamboo tree and decorated it with the ornaments we had bought last year. Every year two-three new ornaments were added to our heap. And every year it was getting bigger and bigger.

Sri Lanka, in December we get the school year-end vacation. All at home and so thrilling. There were many Christian friends on both my Amma’s (mother) and Taththa’s (father) side. So we were invited for Christmas lunch and dinners often. There were times when my mother prepared a special dinner or lunch for us on Christmas. We saw this preparation for Christmas. All these childhood experiences made special attraction in our little minds. So the feeling for Christmas is cherished forever. What a time!!

My sister also decorates her Christmas tree with her little daughter (my little BUBI ) even today. I would love to see passing down these sweet memories from generation to generation.

So after sweet memories back to the present, this is the 1st Christmas we two have together as a loving family. How cute, and a blessing we are under one shelter. So I wanted to decorate my beautiful small house with foundation decos. It was choosing the Christmas tree first. It was his very first experience of decorating a Christmas Tree, It was an amazing fact for me, but possible. I never knew it. So the Christmas tree decoration was a great experience for him and it filled me with happiness. Because he was enjoying himself too.

After searches, we could find the perfect match for our taste from Amazon, with all the ornaments. See isn’t it sweet and worth? Red, gold, and silver ornamented bauble, tree snowflakes, a star as the top decoration, sweet little drums and present kits, nice red bows, and decorative LED bulb sets were included. The whole ornaments came with the fine pine tree, as a DIY decoration.

You know, it was exactly midnight when we placed the star at the top of the Christmas tree. I have heard that many people place the star, at the beginning of the Christmas season and some wait for the eve of Christmas day. Hope there is no rule. My Christian friends any clarification? love to hear from you!!

Our little guest was like this at the end!

And I got this Christmas wreath from Daiso, In Japan Daiso is a very famous type of outlet, where you can buy most of the items for 100 yen. All I wanted was to add just some simple little touches for Christmas.

Waiting for a cozy loveable Christmas along with super duper mouthwatering foodies on the table. Love to hear from you all.!!
