Cherry blossom

It was one fine day of March. After winter whole of Japan waits for this season, which is called as season of cherry blossom. My very first cherry blossom. Nera wanted to give me a memorable first-time experience in viewing cherry blossoms. How kind fella!! Yes, it was Ueno Park!! Ueno is said to be Tokyo’s cherry blossom hotspot.

It was a journey of 1 hr15 minutes from our residence by train. we had to get into two railway lines and continue our journey. At the Ueno station, I caught up on a nice wall creation. And a few eye-catching boutiques filled with souvenirs. Look you too might catch it as interesting.

These were so creative and the station wall was decorated with the animals. When I went to the Ueno zoo I understood that this wall creation is a reminder of the Ueno zoo.

The bonsai-type trees with little clay pots, what a nice view. I wanted to search and learn how the bonsai tree is created and looked after. Found some interesting writings in this search, if you prefer you can just look into to following.

Before setting off I taught to prepare an easy breakfast with savory chick peas and a few sandwiches. So i did and on the way got some hot coffee bottles and curry buns, curry buns are so very famous in Japan. And I must admit that I am a big fan of Japanese food. Those flavors are enchanting. Finally, it is Ueno station. There were people. After having our breakfast we started walking through the entrance of the park. Empty tummies will not work at all. LOL!!

People were sitting under cherry trees. Some were reading books, some were having food, chatting, playing, and doing all sorts of joyful things. Some were taking a closeup of cherry blossoms. And many media personnel were covering this panoramic view and having chill cats with viewers.

Some were all alone having paintings in their worlds. Cherry flowers can be seen in different colors. And different petal shapes. This little flower’s existence is limited to a few months. But it brings happiness and joy to thousands of people within that short period. Thousands of people waiting for their bloom. What a message to the world!!!

The roads were filled with hot street foods. Since we were filled with chickpea , sandwiches and curry bun we got nothing. But much to eat while walking.

After a cheery viewing, we were back to the famous Ueno zoo. This is the oldest zoo in Japan. So many foreigners and locals were there at the entrance gate. Surrounding was a bit cool but it was fine than the burning sun. Hope you can see some gloomy clouds too. But so lucky there was no rain throughout our cheerful journey.

And can you see the oldest photograph of Ueno Zoo? The zoo was celebrating its 140th anniversary, as the poster says. Yeah, can you see the traditional Japanese people with their costumes? How rare pictures, so worthy. At the top of the picture, it says the year 1882, Was it taken in 1882? I was rushed to find out about the invention of the camera, got it, it was in 1816. How wonderful, The rare picture of the opening of Ueno Zoo.

The cute symbol consisting of cartoon-type animals is so cute. (there is a man also in the circle, yes we can not be without nature)

The polar bear was in his business alone. We both felt sad with no reason for the way he was posing.

The tiger was sleeping. We could not see its face anytime.

We had great fun looking at the behaving style of these. It was really interesting. We had some drinks while walking, but I missed taking photos of that cool refreshing drink. The couple had emptied the whole fruit juice bottles by the time of remembering the photo business. LOL

It was time to back to Sweet Home, we had a look at the sculptures in the front yard of the museum near the Ueno station. Time flew so we thought to postpone having the look to Museum. Must visit the place too soon. But got some photographs of eye-catching sculptures in the front yard. And hope you love to see.

Anyone visited the museum, love to know any recommendations and must visit!!!
